What is the Alberta Apprenticeship Entrance Exam?

To enter apprenticeship programs in Alberta you must either meet the educational requirements or pass the Alberta trade entrance exam with a score of 70% or higher.

The exams are given by Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training and are written at any Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Office.

The AIT Exam is recognized in Alberta, Nunavut Territory, Yukon, and the Northwest Territory.
